At the last meeting the military committee of the Caucasus Union discussed current events in Georgia with Magomed Saipulaev, commander of the Imam Shamil Battalion. During the talks, Magomed expressed his full support for Lado Gamsakhurdia and emphasized his readiness to cooperate to strengthen the sovereignty and security of the Georgian people.
“We will always stand for the freedom and security of the Caucasus. The Georgian people can count on our help in this difficult time,” Magomed Saipulaev said.
The sides also discussed the possibility of joint efforts to prevent destabilization in the region and protect the interests of all peoples of the Caucasus.
This meeting became a symbol of unity and mutual support of the peoples of the Caucasus in their aspiration for freedom, sovereignty and peaceful future.
