Peace dictated by an aggressor is not peace — it’s a delay of the next war

Europe knows this lesson too well. Appeasement has never brought lasting peace. It has only emboldened the next tyrant.

Today, Ukraine is not just defending its own borders — it is protecting the principles on which modern Europe stands: sovereignty, democracy, the rule of law. If we abandon Ukraine now, we don’t end the war — we export it.

Negotiating with Putin is not diplomacy — it’s surrender

Any attempt to push Ukraine into territorial concessions doesn’t stop the war — it rewards aggression. And what Europe rewards, the world imitates.

Let’s be clear: a “deal” that ignores Ukraine’s will and sacrifices its land is a green light for the next war — whether in the Baltics, the Caucasus, or beyond.

European security begins in Kharkiv, not in Brussels

It’s tempting to believe that this is someone else’s war. But Ukraine is the front line of European security. If Russia wins, the next battles may unfold on NATO territory — where treaties will demand direct military response.

Supporting Ukraine now means preventing a much costlier conflict later. In lives, in budgets, in Europe’s very stability.

Solidarity is not charity — it’s self-defense

Yes, aid has a price. But what is the cost of silence in the face of genocide, missile strikes, and occupation?

Europe promised “Never again.” That promise is being tested. And if we fail this test, we will lose the moral ground on which the EU was built.

Ukraine has earned the right to decide its future

Let’s not repeat the mistakes of history — where powerful capitals dictated the fate of small nations. Ukraine is not a bargaining chip. It is a democratic state defending its freedom with blood.

To force a compromise on Kyiv is to betray the very values Europe claims to uphold.

This is Europe’s moment of truth

Will we defend the principles we inscribed in treaties and constitutions — or will we surrender them for short-term calm?Backing Ukraine is not just strategic. It’s existential. For Europe. For the world order. For the meaning of peace.
