Russian Airstrike Devastates Educational Institution in Odesa Region
A ballistic missile strike by Russian forces targeted the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi area in Odesa Oblast. This information was reported by Oleh Kiper, the head of the regional military administration.
Kiper stated, “The Russians have destroyed a local educational institution. There may be people trapped underneath the rubble – adults from the teaching staff.”
According to him, the children were already on vacation, so there were no students present in the facility at the time of the attack. Emergency responders are actively working to clear the debris and search for individuals who may be trapped.
In a related update, on the night of June 23, Russian forces launched a significant assault on Ukraine, consisting of 352 kamikaze drones and 16 Iskander-type missiles, the majority of which were directed towards Kyiv. As a result, over 30 individuals were injured in the capital, with damage reported to civilian infrastructure across various districts, including Svyatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, and Podilskyi. Additionally, Russian forces destroyed the apartment of Taras Topolya, the frontman of the Ukrainian band Antytila.
