Russia Strikes Kharkiv and Kupiansk: Casualties Reported
On the night of June 25, Russian forces launched an attack on Kharkiv using seven Shahed-type drones. All drones hit targets in the city’s Kyiv district, including a civil enterprise and the vicinity of an unoccupied residential building. At least one person was injured and hospitalized as a result of the attack. Additionally, Russian forces dropped KAB munitions on Kupiansk, resulting in civilian casualties.
According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, referencing data from the local Situation Center, fires were recorded in the area of the damaged residential building. He clarified that the structure was uninhabited, and details regarding the civil facility that sustained damage are being confirmed.
The official stated that medical assistance is being provided to the injured party. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, confirmed that a 64-year-old man sustained injuries.
“During the night, the enemy also struck the city of Kupiansk. As a result of a guided bomb impacting the ground, a nine-story residential building was damaged. Five civilians were injured, and they are receiving all necessary medical care,” Synegubov added.
Last night, Russian forces also launched seven “Shahed” drones at Kharkiv. The prosecutor’s office showed the consequences of the strike.
