Ukrainian Forces Successfully Hit Russian Munitions Depot in Bryansk Region

On June 28, the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed a successful strike on a munitions depot located in Russia’s Bryansk region. The operation was executed by the military intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense in collaboration with various units of Ukraine’s defense forces, reports 24brussels.

According to the General Staff, the strike was part of measures to diminish the enemy’s offensive capabilities, aimed precisely at Russian army munitions storage facilities.

The targeted facility was the 1060th Material and Technical Support Center, functioning on the premises of the former 120th Arsenal of the Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Confirmation of a fire and destruction of the objective has been reported, with further information on the extent of the damage still being clarified.

Additionally, sources from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) revealed that another successful operation occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea, targeting the Kirovske military airfield. Three helicopters belonging to Russian occupation forces and a Pantsir-S1 missile system were reportedly destroyed in the attack.

Earlier reports indicated that Ukrainian drones successfully struck rocket fuel storage facilities in Bryansk, igniting a fire at the respective storage sites.

“Ukrainian defense forces will continue efforts to dismantle the enemy’s logistics, weaken its frontline capabilities, and compel an end to the armed aggression,” the General Staff concluded.
