Massive Airstrike in Ivano-Frankivsk Region Causes Damage
On June 29, 2025, debris from an extensive airstrike fell in the territories of private households in the Rohatyn and Bilshevytska communities of Ivano-Frankivsk region. The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, reported this on Telegram.
In the village of Vasyuchyn, windows of the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church were damaged along with part of the wooden bell tower. A woman was injured in the village of Narayivka and has been hospitalized. A residential building in that locality also suffered damage.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
Onyshchuk extended wishes for a swift recovery to the injured and expressed gratitude to the air defense forces, as well as rescuers and medical personnel working to address the aftermath of the enemy attacks.
Earlier reports indicated that on June 29, around 1:50 AM, explosions were heard near Lviv as Russian drones reached the western regions of Ukraine, reports 24brussels.
