Shortly afterward, Terekhov announced that the aerial assault on the city continued, warning that more combat drones were approaching the Pyatykhatky area and advised residents to remain cautious due to potential further strikes.

By 5:43 AM, the mayor reported hearing four explosions within Kharkiv.

At 5:48 AM, Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, confirmed that a UAV had struck the Shevchenkivskyi district, igniting a fire on the ninth floor of a building. Early reports indicated that there were no casualties, but information remained to be clarified as emergency services were deployed to the scene.

By 5:53 AM, Terekhov reported that there were injuries in the building hit by the drone, and another strike had been confirmed in a multi-story residential building in the Slobidskyi district.

Earlier reports indicated that earlier on the same day, debris from a drone attack on Kyiv fell in the Desnyanskyi and Solomyanskyi districts.
