Mass Drone Attacks Hit Kharkiv Again

On July 7, 2025, Russian forces launched a second wave of mass drone strikes on Kharkiv, employing kamikaze drones known as “Shahid.” The city experienced at least six confirmed strikes, according to local mayor Ihor Terekhov, as reported by 24brussels.

Oleh Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, announced that the number of injured has risen to 16, including a 17-year-old boy, with two victims in critical condition.

In the Kholodnohirs’kyi district, strikes were recorded in residential areas. Terekhov noted that one drone hit a two-story building, igniting a fire that also affected nearby vehicles.

Destruction has been reported across residential buildings, transportation infrastructure, agricultural structures, and administrative offices within the regional center.

Following the night’s extensive “Shahid” barrage, a total of 29 injuries occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi and Slobidskyi districts of Kharkiv, which included three children.
