Russia Launches Two Drone Attacks on Kharkiv, Casualties Rise to 82

On the morning of July 7, 2025, the Russian military conducted two attacks on Kharkiv using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. As reported by the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office, the number of casualties has risen to 82 as of the evening.

Among the injured are eight children, including four girls and four boys.

The attacks targeted the Slobidsky, Shevchenkivsky, and Kholodnoyarsky districts of Kharkiv. One woman, who suffered serious injuries, has died in a medical facility. The assaults resulted in significant damage to private and multi-storey buildings, vehicles, shops, and administrative structures. The Russian forces also struck the Kharkiv Regional Recruitment Center with a drone, causing additional destruction.
