Russian Forces Advance in Donetsk Region

Russian troops have captured the village of Zirka in the Komarivska community of the Volnovakha district, along the administrative border with the Dnipropetrovsk region, and have made inroads into the village of Komari. This information was reported by the Ukrainian information resource DeepState, which recently updated its interactive maps.

Analysts indicate that the enemy is currently launching an active assault on the village of Novokhatske, also part of the Komarivska community. Videos have surfaced showing Ukrainian Defense Forces destroying Russian assault groups attempting to infiltrate and consolidate within the village.

According to DeepState, enemy infantry is reaching the western outskirts of Novokhatske, and they acknowledge that it is currently impossible to halt the enemy’s advance. Russian units are also conducting assaults on the villages of Myrne, Hrushivske, and Tolstoy.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its evening update that the enemy has made nine attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Dakhne, Filiia, Myrne, Shevchenko, Temyrivka, and Zelenе Pole, moving towards the locality of Novopavlivka.

Previously, DeepState noted that near the administrative borders of the Donetsk region with Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia, Russian forces had captured the village of Yalta and made advances near Voskresenka, Perebudova, Tolstoy, and Myrne, reports 24brussels.
