The naval forces assured that Ukrainian military personnel, along with units from other branches of the defense forces, continue to neutralize enemy threats on land, at sea, and in the air.
The specific locations where the Ukrainian Navy downed the enemy drones were not disclosed. However, it is known that Odesa was heavily targeted during the mass drone attack late on July 24, with air raid alerts also issued in the coastal regions of Kherson and Mykolaiv.
Additionally, it has been noted that naval aviation could engage in combating enemy aerial targets far from coastal areas.
Earlier reports indicated that, on the same day, a Russian drone strike caused a fire at a market in Odesa, damaging the Primorsky Boulevard.
