Trump Threatens Medvedev, Labels Him a “Failed President”

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a warning to former Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev, dismissing him as a “failed president.”

“Russia and the USA do almost no business together. Let’s keep it that way, and tell Medvedev, the failed former President of Russia, who thinks he’s still President, to watch his words. He’s entering very dangerous territory!” Trump stated early Thursday morning, reports 24brussels.

In response, Medvedev has mocked Trump’s recent ultimatum to the Kremlin concerning the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Trump had set a deadline for the Kremlin to cease hostilities or face severe economic repercussions.

“Trump’s playing the ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10 … He should remember 2 things: 1. Russia isn’t Israel or even Iran. 2. Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war,” Medvedev criticized on social media earlier this week. “Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country. Don’t go down the Sleepy Joe road!”
