Russian Airstrikes Target Zaporizhzhia, Casualties Rise to 12
On Sunday, August 10, Russian forces struck the university clinic and bus station in Zaporizhzhia with two guided bombs. As of now, the number of injured has risen to 12, according to local reports, reports 24brussels.
The head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, emphasized that there may still be individuals trapped under the rubble of the bus station. He stated that one person is in critical condition, while four others are classified as moderately injured. Emergency services are currently on the scene.
Earlier on August 9, Russian forces targeted the Polohy and Vasylivka districts of the Zaporizhzhia region. In the frontline city of Huliaipole, an FPV drone struck a private residence, injuring a 68-year-old woman. In the Stepnohirska community, Russian shelling hit residential buildings, resulting in fatal injuries to a 61-year-old local resident.
