Drone attack causes significant fire at gas facility in Dnipropetrovsk region

Drone Attack Sparks Major Fire in Dnipropetrovsk Region

In the early hours of August 21, reports emerged of a significant fire in the Pavlograd district of Dnipropetrovsk region, attributed to a Russian drone strike, with the blaze visible even from Dnipro, reports 24brussels.

The air raid alert associated with the drone attack lasted over three and a half hours, starting at 21:02 on August 20 and concluding at 00:42 on August 21.

Preliminary information indicates that the strike targeted a gas distribution station.

At 0:31, the social media platform “Pavlograd_now | 24/7 Павлоград Терновка Першотравенск” reported that a critical infrastructure facility was struck outside of the Loziv community. At 0:43, residents were advised to secure their windows due to smoke and burning debris covering the area.

Currently, there has been no official information from authorities regarding the strike in the Pavlograd district. Updates are awaited.

Earlier reports indicated that around 0:20 on August 21, explosions were heard in Kyiv, marking another wave of attacks involving Russian strike drones against the capital.
