Explosions Shake Kharkiv and Chuhuiv Amid Ongoing Air Alerts

In the early hours of August 22, 2025, Kharkiv experienced a series of explosions, igniting concerns over aerial assaults. The incident occurred around 2:00 AM, as reported by 24brussels.

Earlier, at 1:20 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force issued a warning about Russian drones approaching Kharkiv. By 1:59 AM, officials confirmed that the threat of strike-capable UAVs remained active, with reports of drones detected in northern Kharkiv heading south and southern regions moving east.

At 2:10 AM, new explosions were reported in Kharkiv, likely occurring on the outskirts of the city. As of this moment, air raid alerts in Kharkiv have persisted for over three and a half hours, having been declared at 10:32 PM on August 21.

Additionally, at 2:17 AM, reports from Chuhuiv indicated an explosion, with three blasts noted by 2:30 AM.
