Russian missile strike on Flex factory in Mukachevo extinguished after three days of firefighting

Russian Missile Strike on Ukrainian Factory Causes Large Fire

On August 21, a Russian missile strike hit the Flex factory in Mukachevo, located in the Zakarpattia region, resulting in a massive fire covering an area of 7,000 square meters. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze by the third day, reports 24brussels.

Currently, emergency service personnel are clearing debris at the site and spraying structural elements to prevent any further ignitions.

To combat the fire, four units of equipment and 13 firefighters were deployed. As a result of the attack, 23 people sustained injuries.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha previously reported that the Russian missile had struck an American electronics manufacturing facility in Mukachevo. Andriy Gunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, urged US President Donald Trump to support American businesses and counter Vladimir Putin’s destructive campaign.
