Apple Unveils the Apple Watch Ultra 3 with Enhanced Features
Apple has officially launched the Apple Watch Ultra 3, boasting a range of new features including 5G connectivity, a battery life of up to 42 hours, and satellite connectivity. While the physical size of the watch remains the same, the display has been enlarged to extend closer to the edges. This new model is designed to provide notifications for chronic high blood pressure and offers a comprehensive sleep scoring system, reports 24brussels.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is available for preorder now, with public release set for September 19th. The starting price will be $799, and it will be offered in both natural and black titanium finishes.
This latest version follows the Apple Watch Ultra 2, which was introduced in 2023, along with the previous iterations of the Ultra series. Apple markets its Ultra watches primarily to athletes and fitness enthusiasts, emphasizing features such as extended battery life, enhanced displays, and advanced GPS capabilities for workout tracking. The starting price of these models has consistently begun at $799.
In conjunction with the launch of the new watch, Apple also announced the upcoming release of watchOS 26, scheduled for this fall. This update will introduce innovative features, including an AI-powered “Workout Buddy,” an improved Smart Stack, and a new wrist flick gesture to manage notifications. Additionally, the Liquid Glass design language will also be rolled out across other Apple products.
