CMF launches first over-ear headphones with customizable energy slider in the EU and UK

CMF has announced the launch of its Headphone Pro in the United States, scheduled for October 7, 2025, with a price tag of $99, reports 24brussels.

The CMF Headphone Pro, part of a budget-focused sub-brand by Nothing, debuted earlier in the EU and UK and stands out with its much lower price point in comparison to Nothing’s own $299 Headphone 1. This new offering features more customization options, such as color-adjustable ear cushions available for an additional $25.

Unlike its predecessor, the CMF Headphone Pro opts for tactile buttons over touch-sensitive controls, enhancing user experience through discernible operation. Key controls include a round power/Bluetooth button, a customizable action button, and a multi-function roller for volume and playback adjustments. Notably, the headphones also introduce the Energy Slider, enabling quick EQ adjustments without accessing an app.

Featuring adaptive active noise cancellation, the CMF Headphone Pro can adjust sound dampening based on environmental noise levels. The headphones’ 720mAh battery provides up to 100 hours of playback without ANC, which diminishes to up to 50 hours with this feature engaged—surpassing the performance of several leading competitors.

The CMF Headphone Pro’s distinctive design leans towards rounded ear cups and a well-padded headband, diverging from Nothing’s typical boxy aesthetic. Available in dark gray, light green, and light gray, the headphones are positioned to attract consumers looking for quality and customizability in their audio equipment at an accessible price.
