Intensifying Russian Military Activity in Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad Agglomeration

On October 11, 2025, Russian forces are amassing troops and resources in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration, employing infiltration tactics that involve small groups attempting to breach Ukrainian defensive lines. Ukrainian troops are actively blocking Russian advancements and increasing their military presence in the area, reports 24brussels.

Ukrainian forces are also engaging in operations to locate and eliminate Russian infantry groups that have infiltrated their defensive formations. This proactive approach underscores the ongoing intensity of the conflict in the region.

Spokesman for Ukraine’s 7th Rapid Reaction Corps, Serhiy Okyshev, noted that Russian troops have significantly escalated their use of tactical aviation along the Pokrovsk front, with the frequency of airstrikes reportedly increasing threefold.

Okyshev highlighted that the Russians are not engaging in direct assaults but are instead seeking to advance along the flanks of Ukrainian positions.

In related developments, Ukrainian National Guard officer Volodymyr Chernyak reported that worsening weather conditions would soon compel Russian forces to modify their offensive tactics in the Pokrovsk area. Additionally, Eduard Bodnyuk, commander of the drone battalion “Black Raven” from the 93rd Independent Mechanized Brigade, stated that Ukrainian forces continue to disrupt Russian logistical operations in the region. According to reports, Russian military casualties increased by 30% in September alone.
