Massive Turnout for Ozzy Osbourne’s Funeral Procession in Birmingham

Tens of thousands of people gathered in Birmingham on Wednesday to pay their respects to metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, who died on 22 July at the age of 76., reports 24brussels.

The funeral procession commenced shortly before 13:00 local time (14:00 CET) in the Aston area, with plans to navigate through Osbourne’s hometown before a private ceremony.

Numerous fans, many clad in black and sporting T-shirts or jackets featuring the “Prince of Darkness,” were captured in footage aired by the BBC.

The path of the procession includes Broad Street, where stars in honor of prominent city figures, including Osbourne, are featured in the pavement.

As the procession progresses, it will also pass by Black Sabbath Bridge, marked by a bench showcasing the faces of the four Black Sabbath band members, which has been adorned with flowers and tributes from fans.
