Amazon launched new Echo Show smart displays and Echo smart speakers, now powered by an upgraded AI-driven voice assistant named Alexa Plus. This new assistant promises a more conversational interaction and improved management of smart home devices. In addition, Amazon introduced several new Ring smart security cameras, featuring a 4K-capable video doorbell and an AI function that assists in locating missing pets.

Meanwhile, Google announced a substantial overhaul of its smart home offerings. The tech giant introduced its Gemini AI, which enhances the capabilities of Google Home devices by replacing the existing Google Assistant with a more sophisticated, LLM-powered version. New Gemini-capable Nest security cameras and a video doorbell, along with affordable camera options developed in partnership with Walmart, were also revealed.
