Sales of Anker’s 3D Printers Indefinitely Paused
Sales of Anker’s M5 and M5C 3D printers have been paused indefinitely, according to a company spokesperson. Anker has not disclosed whether it plans to resume sales or develop new models in the future, stating simply that “sales have been paused,” reports 24brussels.
In March 2025, Anker announced the spin-off of its 3D printing business into a sub-brand named EufyMake, promising continued support for existing products. However, it has recently halted the sale of all 3D printers and many necessary components, leading to concerns about the brand’s future in the market.
A spokesperson, Brett White, noted that while EufyMake has not ruled out the development of new models, it has indeed stopped selling the current printer models for the time being. Customers are left questioning the brand’s commitment to the 3D printing community.
The EufyMake website currently lists no 3D printers, apart from a UV printer. The complete absence of products reflects a significant shift in the brand’s focus amidst escalating challenges within the 3D printing sector.
Anker has faced a turbulent entry into the 3D printing market, attempting to address various user pain points with its initial offerings. However, many users have reported difficulties with the M5 and M5C models, which led to dwindling satisfaction and sales.
Users on platforms like Reddit have expressed frustration over the unavailability of essential components, including critical parts like the hotend for the M5C model. This raises doubts about the reliability and future of the existing printers, as parts become scarce.
Evidence suggests that Anker has ceased the sale of the full extruder assembly for the M5C. The ongoing unavailability of these critical components has led to user dissatisfaction and concerns regarding the utility of their 3D printers moving forward.
While Anker navigates its difficulties in the competitive 3D printing market, many brands like Creality also encounter similar challenges as they strive to capture consumer interest in affordable and user-friendly models. Startups looking to establish themselves in this evolving industry face scrutiny over product reliability and service capabilities.
As the 3D printing community watches Anker’s next moves closely, consumers may need to explore alternatives as market dynamics shift. Many recommend exploring widely recognized models like the Bambu P1S and the Elegoo Centauri Carbon which prioritize print quality and user experience.
