Beyerdynamic Unveils Second Generation of Aventho Wireless Headphones
Beyerdynamic has introduced the second generation of its Aventho wireless headphones, the Aventho 100, featuring an enhanced battery life of an additional 40 hours compared to its predecessor. This announcement comes nearly eight years after the original model debuted in 2017, reports 24brussels.
The new Aventho 100 is set to launch initially in Canada through Amazon.ca at a price of $299.99 CAD (approximately $220 USD). It will also be available on the company’s online store in Europe for €199, with options in black, brown, and cream. This marks a significant reduction from the original’s debut price of €449 (around $525 USD). Beyerdynamic states that global availability, including the United States, will follow, though specific timing remains unannounced.
While maintaining the original’s 45mm drivers, the Aventho 100 incorporates upgraded Bluetooth support and a robust 630mAh battery. According to Beyerdynamic, users can expect up to 60 hours of battery life without noise cancellation or 40 hours with it activated. In contrast, the original model provided just 20 hours of playback and did not support noise canceling technology.
When fully discharged, a quick 15-minute charge is said to offer an additional 15 hours of listening time. The package also includes a 3.5mm audio cable for those who prefer a wired connection.
In addition to the battery enhancements, the Aventho 100 features Bluetooth 5.4, support for the aptX Lossless and Adaptive codecs, and a USB-C charging port. Qualitative improvements, such as Qualcomm’s clear voice capture technology for clearer call quality and replaceable ear pads, have also been integrated. The headphones’ design has been refined, with exposed wires connecting the ear pads now covered by a braided wrap for increased durability.
Overall, the Aventho 100 represents a substantial upgrade in functionality and performance, continuing Beyerdynamic’s commitment to high-quality audio solutions in a stylish and user-friendly package.
