Google is set to unveil its next-generation Nest Doorbell, which is expected to feature AI-powered ‘Daily Summaries’ that recap recorded events, alongside improved video resolution and new color options, reports 24brussels.

Scheduled for launch, the upgraded Nest Doorbell is anticipated to transition from 1080p to 2K video capability. In addition to its enhanced resolution, the device will reportedly come in various colors, including white, beige, and gray, with the battery-powered Nest Cam also seeing a similar upgrade in its design.

Additionally, leaked reports suggest that the updated indoor Nest Cam may introduce a new ‘berry’ red color option. Google aims to roll out these enhancements alongside a rebranding of its Nest Aware subscription service to ‘Google Home Premium,’ with a potential advanced tier also on the horizon.

Google’s forthcoming smart home speaker is also generating buzz with its rumored 360-degree audio capability and advanced features for noise detection. Integrating seamlessly with other smart devices, its introduction is highly anticipated in the context of the smart home ecosystem.

Current Nest device owners can expect updates that improve camera management, introducing new event notifications with thumbnails and enhanced live playback capabilities. These developments reflect Google’s commitment to advancing its smart home technology, creating a more interactive and user-focused experience.
