Meta AI launches Vibes, a new feed for AI-generated videos aimed at creativity

On September 26, 2025, Meta AI unveiled a new feed for short-form, AI-generated videos dubbed Vibes. This platform encourages users to remix videos produced by “creators and communities,” according to company statements, reports 24brussels.

The Vibes feed allows users to showcase their own AI-generated creations, as well as share them across Meta’s various platforms, including Instagram and Facebook. This new offering replaces the previous Discover feed, which facilitated users sharing their prompts and interactions with Meta AI.

Meta’s Vice President of Product, Connor Hayes, indicated that the earlier feed aimed to demonstrate the potential of AI, emphasizing its functionality in inspiring creativity. Vibes marks a shift in focus to video content, highlighting a targeted approach to foster creative inspiration by leveraging Meta AI’s media tools.

Videos within the Vibes feed are displayed alongside the prompts that generated them. For example, one featured video depicts mountain goats navigating a snowy landscape, with the creative prompt highlighting the desired aesthetics of the scene.

“mountain goats leaping through deep snow; snowy alpine mountain range; majestic exhilarating atmosphere; bright cold natural daylight –sref 1616409542 –sref 4039725326 –stylize 200”

Users have the ability to remix these videos by altering music, changing images, or modifying animations. Remixed videos can be shared back to the Vibes feed or posted on Instagram or Facebook as stories or Reels. Additionally, on Instagram, users can click on Meta AI videos to remix them using the Meta AI app.

Meta has integrated AI features across its suite of products, enabling users to create AI images in Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Last month, the company also announced a partnership with AI image generator Midjourney as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance user engagement through artificial intelligence.
