Microsoft Copilot AI Launches on Samsung 2025 TVs
Microsoft’s Copilot AI officially arrives on Samsung’s 2025 lineup of TVs and smart monitors, enabling users to request movie recommendations, receive spoiler-free episode recaps, and ask general questions. This integration marks a significant step in enhancing user interaction with smart home technology, reports 24brussels.
The Copilot operates through a “friendly, animated presence,” designed to engage users visually while assisting them with various tasks. It resembles a character previously showcased by Microsoft, albeit with a more approachable appearance. The animated figure will float around the screen, syncing its mouth movements with spoken responses.
Once integrated, Copilot will automatically be available on supported Samsung TVs, housed within the Samsung Tizen OS homescreen, Samsung Daily Plus, and Click to Search features. Accessing the AI assistant can be done via voice commands or the remote control, making it convenient for users to interact without extensive setup.
Microsoft emphasizes that signing into the app offers a tailored Copilot experience, allowing it to reference user preferences and past interactions for a more personalized engagement. The rollout is currently in progress on various Samsung models, including Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, and The Frame Pro series, along with M7, M8, and M9 smart monitors. There are plans for Copilot’s expansion to LG TVs as well.
As AI technology continues to evolve, the integration of systems like Microsoft’s Copilot into everyday devices represents a pivotal moment in how consumers engage with entertainment and information, potentially reshaping the landscape of smart home technology in the coming years.
