The Moto X70 Air Set to Launch in China with European Release Forthcoming
Motorola is poised to launch the Moto X70 Air in China on October 31, 2025, a device that boasts a remarkably slim profile of less than 6mm and an impressive battery capacity of 4,800mAh. An international version, likely to be released as the Edge 70 in Europe, is anticipated by early November, reports 24brussels.
The X70 Air weighs just 159g and features a 6.7-inch display, positioning it among the thinnest smartphones in the market, alongside the 5.6mm iPhone Air and the 5.8mm Galaxy S25 Edge. Despite its thin profile, the smartphone promises longer battery life than its competitors, a critical factor for potential buyers. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which, while not offering the same level of performance as flagship models, aims to provide a cost-effective alternative.
While Motorola has confirmed the Chinese launch date, it has also teased a European release for the Edge model on November 5, potentially coinciding with the Moto X70 Air’s rollout. This strategic launch is part of Motorola’s effort to regain market share in the competitive smartphone landscape.
As consumer preferences shift towards thinner smartphones without compromising battery life, the X70 Air could attract significant attention within both markets. Motorola’s latest offering seems set to challenge established competitors by combining slim design with high-capacity battery technology.
