Nomad Launches Innovative Leather Mag Wallet with Built-in Tracking Technology
The new Leather Mag Wallet from Nomad incorporates tracking technology that utilizes Apple’s Find My network, enabling users to locate it if lost. This innovative wallet aims to enhance personal security and ease of access for its users, reports 24brussels.
Specifically designed to integrate the electronics of the Nomad Tracking Card, the Leather Mag Wallet eliminates the need for a separate tracking card, thereby preserving all available card slots. This is the first product from Nomad to embed tracking technology directly within the wallet’s design.
With a total thickness of just 9mm, the Leather Mag Wallet is both sleek and functional, made from Horween leather available in black or rustic brown. The tracking component has been streamlined further, with the electronics integrated into the wallet’s internal polycarbonate frame, resulting in a stylish yet lightweight accessory.
The wallet boasts a battery life of up to five months, extendable through any Qi or MagSafe wireless charger. It offers a detection range of up to 150 feet but does not support ultra wideband (UWB) technology, so users must rely on an audible alarm for location assistance.
Users can securely store up to four cards in the wallet’s spring-loaded pocket, ensuring that cards remain in place even if only one is carried. Additionally, its compatibility with MagSafe allows users to attach the wallet to their iPhone or other compatible smartphones, providing added convenience and security.
Nomad’s Leather Mag Wallet is now available for $80, melding technology and style for the modern consumer.
