Nvidia will begin selling its DGX Spark, a “personal AI supercomputer,” starting October 15, 2025. This compact machine is designed to manage sophisticated AI models, fitting comfortably on a desktop, reports 24brussels.
The DGX Spark, which will be available for order online at nvidia.com and select partners in the US, aims to democratize AI. Detailed pricing is yet to be disclosed, though preliminary estimates suggested a starting cost of $3,000. Customized versions from other PC makers, such as the Acer Veriton GN100, are priced at $3,999.
This innovative technology promises to deliver performance traditionally confined to energy-intensive data centers. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that bringing an AI supercomputer to individual desks empowers data scientists, AI researchers, and students to significantly impact the AI landscape.
In anticipation of its launch, Nvidia welcomes third-party manufacturers to create their own iterations of the Spark. Noteworthy tech companies, including Asus, Dell, and HP, are reportedly developing customized versions.
The DGX Spark features the Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, equipped with 128GB of unified memory and options for up to 4TB of NVMe SSD storage. Its computational capacity reaches a remarkable petaflop, performing one million billion calculations per second and supporting AI models with as many as 200 billion parameters. Nvidia calls it “the world’s smallest AI supercomputer.”
While the DGX Spark arrives as a compact solution, Nvidia is also developing a larger equivalent known as the Station, although there has been no update on its market availability.
Correction, October 13th: An earlier version of this story misstated that the DGX Spark was “now available to buy.” It will actually go on sale October 15th.
