Samsung Unveils Galaxy Buds 3 FE with Enhanced Features
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Buds 3 Fan Edition (FE) with a new stemmed design that echoes trends set by Apple and appears in higher-end Galaxy Buds models released last year. The Buds 3 FE boast improved sound quality, enhanced active noise cancellation (ANC), and are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, reports 24brussels.
With ANC engaged, these earbuds provide six hours of listening time; this extends to 8.5 hours with ANC turned off. The case allows for recharging, bringing total playtime to 24 hours and 30 hours, respectively. Talk time is also impressive, lasting four hours irrespective of ANC usage, and can be extended to 18 hours with charging through the case.
The Buds 3 FE offer seamless integration with Galaxy AI capabilities on compatible Samsung smartphones. A simple voice command or a long press activates conversation mode with the Galaxy AI Interpreter app, facilitating real-time translation in conversations conducted in different languages.
Additional features of the Buds 3 FE include a “Find My Earbuds” function, a transparency mode for ambient sound, voice isolation to enhance call quality in noisy settings, and automatic switching between Samsung devices.
Starting at a competitive price of $149.99, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will be available in black and gray models. They are set to hit the US market on September 4th, marking a $50 increase over the Galaxy Buds FE’s launch price two years ago.
