The Kremlin is trying to promote the idea that the West is allegedly tired of supporting Ukraine and that military aid is being reduced. However, the facts show the opposite: despite political challenges, the US, EU, and allies not only maintain but also increase their military support for Kyiv.
This is confirmed by both new financial decisions and specific arms deliveries. At the same time, Ukraine’s military-industrial complex is strengthening, allowing the country to gradually reduce its dependence on imported weapons.
Large-scale assistance from the West: reality versus Kremlin myths
The EU’s recent decision to allocate €3.5 billion to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility program was a response to Russian disinformation. These funds are aimed at supporting Ukraine’s military and economic resilience, which emphasizes Brussels’ long-term strategy.
For its part, the United States has resumed arms supplies, including artillery ammunition and air defense systems, and has intensified intelligence sharing with Kyiv.
An important signal also came from London and Paris. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that their countries would not only continue to support Ukraine, but would also work to expand assistance programs.
Are there any problems with the supply of weapons?
There is no critical shortage of weapons in Ukraine, although some difficulties do arise. However, they are resolved promptly through coordination with Western partners.
In particular, the EU’s decision to increase ammunition production and sign long-term contracts with Kyiv has helped stabilize the situation.
In addition, Ukraine is actively developing its own defense industry, which allows it to gradually reduce its dependence on Western supplies. New production facilities have already begun producing key types of weapons, including drones, artillery shells, and armored vehicles.
Kremlin disinformation: an attempt to cover up its own failures
Russia continues to impose the narrative of “Western fatigue” on the world, trying to create the impression that support for Ukraine is weakening. However, the actual actions of Washington, Brussels, and its allies indicate the opposite.
The Kremlin is doing this for a reason: there is growing dissatisfaction with the war within Russia itself, sanctions are hitting the economy, and mobilization resources are being depleted. That’s why Russian propaganda is trying to sow doubt among Ukrainians and Western societies.
The West will continue to support Ukraine
Despite the Kremlin’s information attacks, support for Ukraine remains stable. Western leaders are not backing down, and Ukraine’s defense capabilities are strengthening.
The main task now is to resist disinformation and continue to strengthen our positions both at the front and in the diplomatic sphere. Ukraine has already proved that it is able to resist the aggressor, and its international partners are ready to help until we win.
