RSC Anderlecht Partners with Stromae’s Mosaert for New Season
Belgian football club RSC Anderlecht has announced a collaboration with Mosaert, the creative agency of pop star Stromae, marking a new initiative for the upcoming season. Mosaert has designed four official shirts for the club, while Stromae has reworked the iconic club anthem “Anderlecht Champion” by Grand Jojo, originally released in 1985., reports 24brussels.
Stromae, whose real name is Paul Van Haver, reworked “Anderlecht Champion” in tribute to the late Grand Jojo, who passed away in 2021. The club confirmed, “Stromae’s remix complements the original song, which will still be played in the stadium before every match.”
The official music video features Stromae playing a minor role and showcases the four new shirts for the 2025/26 season. The designs, created by Coralie Barbier, Mosaert’s fashion designer and creative director, draw inspiration from the 1980s, the era during which the original anthem was released.
With this collaboration, the club aims to reinforce its connection to Brussels. Anderlecht hinted at additional initiatives to be revealed in the future.
“Throughout the 2025–2026 season, Mosaert will continue to celebrate the cultural cross-pollination between RSCA and Brussels,” the club announced, indicating plans for contributions to the club’s visual identity and a special stadium event.
Stromae is not the first prominent musical figure associated with Lotto Park. Previously, Anderlecht engaged rapper Zwangere Guy as a stadium announcer and collaborated with the successful French-speaking rapper Damso.
