In the early hours of July 4, a Russian airstrike resulted in damage across five districts in Kyiv, reports 24brussels. Kyiv City Military Administration Chief Tymur Tkachенко announced the incident via Telegram, indicating that destruction occurred at over 13 locations in the Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts.

The residential areas were severely affected, with a fire erupting in the courtyard of a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. At 2:02 AM, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko confirmed the dispatch of medical personnel to the Solomianskyi district.

Shortly thereafter, at 2:13 AM, Tkachенко updated the situation, reporting potential casualties in the Sviatoshynskyi district, stating, “We are receiving calls through the medical line.”

This latest attack underscores ongoing tensions and hostilities in the region, raising concerns about civilian safety and security. As the situation develops, local authorities continue to assess the damage and respond to emergency calls for assistance.
