Chinese Components Found in Drones Used in Kyiv Attack

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has identified Chinese-manufactured components in the Shahed drones used by the Russian army to attack Kyiv on the night of July 3-4, 2025, reports 24brussels. The findings were disclosed in a Telegram update from the SBU.

Investigators discovered details bearing the label of the manufacturer Suzhou Ecod Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd in the drones.

“These components, including launch catapult fittings, were retrieved from the UAVs that the Russian occupiers used to assault the Ukrainian capital on the night of July 3-4,” the statement said.

Currently, the SBU has classified the Russian strike on Kyiv as a war crime and is gathering evidence of the terrorist attack committed by Russia against the city.

Further updates are anticipated.
