Drone attacks in Kharkiv region increase number of casualties, emergency services report

Drone Strike in Kharkiv Region Injures Eight

On June 30, 2025, a drone strike in the Kharkiv region resulted in eight injuries, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Among the injured, who all reside in the city of Pisochyn, was a child. A workshop building spanning 50 square meters caught fire as a result of the attack, causing significant damage.

In the neighboring city of Derhachi, two additional fires broke out: one in a warehouse belonging to a private enterprise, covering an area of 1,000 square meters, and another at an agricultural facility totaling 200 square meters. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from these incidents.

Similarly, in the village of Kurortne, located in the Chuhuiv district, a fire engulfed a canteen building of a health resort, measuring 300 square meters. No casualties occurred there as well.

Earlier on the same day, starting at 00:40, explosions were reported in Kharkiv amidst the ongoing drone assault, heard beyond the city limits, reports 24brussels.
