Explosions Rock Kharkiv Amid Ongoing Attacks

On July 26, 2025, around 12:10 AM, explosions were reported in Kharkiv, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov. He announced on Telegram, “Kharkiv is under attack from enemy KABs, explosions heard in the city!” Just three minutes later, Terekhov updated that the blasts occurred in the Kyivsky district of the city, reports 24brussels.

The attacks have raised concerns among residents, particularly as the city has experienced increased hostilities in recent weeks. Emergency services were mobilized to assess damage and provide assistance where necessary.

As the situation develops, local authorities are urging citizens to remain vigilant. There have been no immediate reports of casualties, but officials are fully engaged in monitoring the situation closely.

This incident marks the latest in a series of assaults on Ukrainian cities amidst ongoing military operations in the region. The increasing frequency of such attacks has strained emergency response resources and heightened the need for civilian safety measures.

In the context of these attacks, government officials have reiterated their commitment to ensuring the safety of Ukrainian citizens and maintaining resistance against external threats.
