Ukraine continues to enforce a general mobilization and has declared a state of war. Men aged 25 to 60 are subject to draft notices and may join the armed forces. According to a report from 24 канал, it has been clarified what information must be included in the draft notice, reports 24brussels.
In accordance with Resolution 560 on the approval of the procedure for conscription during mobilization, draft notices must include the following information:
- Full name and date of birth of the individual to whom the notice is addressed;
- The name of the district (city) military recruitment center or its departments or the relevant intelligence agency that issued the notice;
- The purpose of the summons to the military recruitment center;
- The date, time, and location of the required appearance;
- The name, title, signature of the official who issued the draft notice, and the date of issuance for paper notices, which must be sealed;
- The name of the head of the military recruitment center or department, along with the date of the qualified electronic signature for notices generated via the Unified State Register of conscripts;
- The registration number of the draft notice;
- Clarification on the consequences of failing to appear and the obligation to notify the reasons for non-appearance.
Methods of Issuing Draft Notices
Draft notices can be generated using the Unified State Register of conscripts or issued on a form completed by representatives of the military recruitment center.
Notices generated from the register can be printed. In this case, the paper format must include a scannable QR code with relevant information.
Draft notices generated from the register can be:
- Printed centrally and sent to conscripts via registered mail with a return receipt;
- Printed and handed to conscripts during notification in printed form.
When sending a draft notice via mail, the package must include the postal operator’s barcode identifier, as well as the recipient’s full name and address.
The details of the parcel should include information on the type of postal item, the recipient’s full name and address, details of the contents, number of pages, and the name of the head of the military recruitment center, along with the date of the qualified electronic signature.
