Ukrainian Forces Hit Russian Military Plant in Cheboksary

In the early hours of July 5, Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully targeted the Russian military factory “VNIIR-Progress” in Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash Republic. The facility specializes in the production of “Kometa” antenna arrays for the Russian military, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.

It has been noted that drone units, in collaboration with other components of the defense forces, executed the operation effectively.

“The target was the production capabilities for the adaptive ‘Kometa’ antenna arrays. These are utilized in Shahed UAVs, Iskander-K missiles, and unified planning and correction modules (UPCM) for guided aerial bombs, as well as other precision weaponry that the enemy regularly uses to strike Ukraine, including civilian infrastructure,” the General Staff reported.

Additional information is forthcoming.
