Senator Graham Optimistic About Ending Ukraine War in 2025

US Senator Lindsey Graham expressed confidence that the war in Ukraine could conclude in 2025, contingent upon a meeting involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, US President Donald Trump, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports 24brussels.

Graham stated, “If a trilateral meeting between President Trump, President Zelensky, and Putin occurs, then I am cautiously optimistic that this war will end well before Christmas. If the meeting does not take place, I believe President Trump may impose serious consequences on Putin and those who purchase his oil and gas.”

Meanwhile, President Zelensky has announced plans to travel to the US on Monday for discussions with Trump. He endorsed the idea of a trilateral meeting and emphasized that substantial discussions can only occur at the leadership level.
