Ukrainian President Criticizes Putin in BBC Documentary
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin, describing him as an “emotionless killer,” in a recent BBC documentary. Zelensky reflected on their lengthy meeting in 2019, emphasizing Putin’s lack of humanity, which he believes affects his leadership style, reports 24brussels.
Zelensky stated, “For me, my work is a part of my life. I truly love Ukraine and want peace. I want people to remember this period of time and respect me. That’s all. But this is just a part of my life — for Putin, this war is his life.”
Furthermore, Zelensky asserted his intention not to serve as president for three or four decades, unlike dictators. He emphasized, “This means I must go through this work and maintain respect and self-respect. This is important for me, for my family. And it is very important for me to help Ukraine, to do everything possible in the best way.”
Meanwhile, The Telegraph reports that Putin’s regime is beginning to crumble. The dictator’s financial resources are rapidly depleting, with the income from oil sales, which sustains his military, decreasing significantly.
