Russian Air Strike Hits Kryvyi Rih

On July 4, 2025, Russian forces launched an air attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih, according to the Air Force Command of the East. This follows a similar incident that occurred near Dnipro just days earlier.

At approximately 11:25 AM, an aerial target was detected over the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia, allegedly released from a tactical aviation aircraft, likely a Su-34. The target traveled over 100 kilometers and struck the Kryvyi Rih area at 11:38 AM, reports 24brussels.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have committed to determining the type of aerial object used in the attack through analysis of its wreckage.

This air strike follows an incident on June 28, when local authorities in Dnipro reported that air defense systems shot down a state-of-the-art missile bomb, “Hrom-1”. This weapon, a modified Kh-38 missile, features a warhead weighing around 300 kg, a jet engine, and a range of approximately 120 km.
