The village is located southwest of Pokrovsk. Conversely, Russian forces have advanced near Novotoretske and Koptivyi to the northeast of the city, as reported by the Ukrainian information resource DeepState, which has recently updated its interactive maps.

The Pokrovsk direction remains one of the most intense areas on the front lines, with nearly a third of all hostile attacks occurring there yesterday.

According to the morning briefing from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces halted 61 Russian assaults in the areas of Popiv Yar, Volodymyrivka, Razine, Kotlyne, Myrne, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Shevchenko, Zvirove, Udačne, and Horykhove, as well as in the directions of Pokrovsk, Molodetske, Oleksiyivka, and Muravka.

Earlier reports indicated that in the adjacent Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces occupied the village of Zirka and advanced in several other areas.
