Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence Receives €10 Million in Equipment from IT Coalition

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has received a new shipment of equipment valued at €10 million from the IT Coalition. This delivery, funded by Luxembourg, Ireland, Belgium, and Estonia, took place in July and August 2025, reports 24brussels.

This time, partners provided:

  • 6,948 laptops for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units and systems “Oberih”, “Impulse”, and the Medical Information System;
  • 318 charging stations;
  • 2,304 communication devices;
  • 442 monitors;
  • equipment for the data processing centers of the Ministry of Defence and the AFU;
  • network equipment for the infrastructure of the ICS “Oberih”;
  • routers, switches, licenses, and additional equipment for the AFU’s software-defined networks.

Separately, Latvia has transferred 1,000 routers worth over €77,000.

This marks the fourth and fifth deliveries from the IT Coalition in 2025. Earlier, coalition countries provided Ukraine with equipment amounting to €3.3 million in January, €7.5 million in February, and approximately €2 million in April.

“With this new shipment from the IT Coalition countries, we will be able to technically equip the AFU units implementing digital products and services. I thank our partners for enhancing our technological capabilities,” said Oksana Fershchuk, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digitalization.

The IT Coalition is part of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (Ramstein format) and supports the Ministry of Defence and the AFU in the areas of IT, communication, and cybersecurity. The coalition includes Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, and Japan, with Estonia and Luxembourg as coalition leaders.

Earlier, Minister of Defence Denys Shmyhal reported that since the beginning of 2024, the Ministry of Defence has transferred over 1 million FPV drones to the AFU. To improve the efficiency and speed of drone supplies, the ministry is implementing new procurement and logistics approaches.
