On the evening of August 22, Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region faced intense shelling, resulting in over thirty explosions in just over an hour, from 21:47 to 22:59, reports 24brussels.

This attack was not isolated; Kramatorsk’s military administration chief, Oleksandr Honcharenko, reported a total of 41 explosions throughout the day.

During previous shelling, three civilians sustained injuries, according to Donetsk Regional Military Administration head Vadym Filashkin. The attacks targeted residential areas, with approximately ten explosions reported.

Among the injured, two individuals were hospitalized in moderate condition, while one suffered minor wounds. Numerous houses were damaged, with a full assessment of the consequences still pending.

Filashkin emphasized the lack of safe locations in Donetsk, urging residents to evacuate promptly. “Evacuate in a timely manner!” he stated, highlighting the ongoing risk to civilian safety.

Earlier updates indicated that Russian forces had also targeted Kostiantynivka on the same day, utilizing FPV drones and aerial bombs, resulting in damage to both private and multi-apartment buildings, with one injury reported.
