Russian Drone Strike Hits Military Recruitment Center in Kremenchuk
On July 6, 2025, around 9:35 AM, a drone strike by Russian forces targeted a military recruitment center in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, resulting in damage to the facility and a nearby residential building, reports 24brussels.
The Ukrainian Ground Forces Command stated that preliminary reports indicated no casualties among military personnel and staff at the recruitment center. Emergency services are currently on site, and assessments of potential injuries are ongoing.
This incident marks the third strike against military recruitment centers in Ukraine within the week. On June 30, Russian forces attacked a recruitment center in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. At the time of the attack, individuals were in shelters, minimizing injuries within the center, though several civilians outside were injured.
Additionally, a drone attack on a military recruitment center in Poltava occurred on July 3, resulting in two fatalities and nearly fifty injuries.
Vitaliy Sarenets, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ground Forces Command, stated that the Russian strikes on these recruitment centers are aimed at disrupting the mobilization process in Ukraine.
