Ukrainian Forces Recapture Kindrativka in Sumy Region
Ukrainian military successfully regained control of the village of Kindrativka, located in the Hotyn community of the Sumy region, as confirmed by the “Kursk” military group. The operation took place on July 27, 2025, reports 24brussels.
The group stated, “Units and military formations that are part of the ‘Kursk’ military grouping, together with the senior operational command forces, carried out a successful operation to liberate the village of Kindrativka in the Sumy region. Stabilization measures are currently underway,” said a spokesperson for the group in a comment.
On July 25, the DeepState analytical project reported on the restoration of control over the village. According to their data, the 225th Separate Assault Brigade completed the clearing and fortification of positions in Kindrativka. Analysts emphasized that this marks the second village in the region that this brigade’s soldiers have liberated, also noting significant losses among Russian forces during both operations.
Reports also emerged that Ukrainian forces have recently made advances in the northern part of the Sumy region, as well as near Velykyi Burluk in the Kharkiv region and in the Lyman area of Donetsk.
