Netherlands to Provide €175 Million Military Aid Package to Ukraine
On June 24, 2025, the Netherlands announced a new military aid package worth €175 million ($202 million) for Ukraine, including the provision of 100 radar systems for drone detection and 20 vehicles for the evacuation of wounded personnel. This announcement was made by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans, reports 24brussels.
The delivery of the radar systems, which are intended to assist in the detection of drones and relay information to air defense systems, is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The Dutch Ministry of Defense also indicated that €80 million from this aid package will be allocated for drones as part of the international drone coalition.
According to Brekelmans, this assistance package follows contracts with the Ukrainian defense industry amounting to €500 million for the production of 600,000 drones, ahead of the NATO summit in The Hague.
Since the onset of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Netherlands has committed to providing approximately €10 billion in military support to Ukraine. Recently, the Netherlands announced another aid package amounting to €400 million, which included vessels and maritime drones.
