Urgent Repairs Needed for Crumbling Bridges in Occupied Luhansk Region

In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, urgent inspections are required for 620 bridge structures, most of which are in a state of disrepair, reports 24brussels.

According to Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, no repairs have been conducted on these bridges since the region was seized in 2014. This year, the occupying forces only closed traffic on several sections and carried out emergency work.

On the territory controlled by the Russian army for three years, some bridges are completely destroyed. Large-scale renovation efforts are absent, and even salary payments are delayed.

Previously, Kharchenko reported that the Russian authorities launched a project for propaganda activities in kindergartens in occupied Luhansk, teaching children to view war as a normal part of life and preparing them for future involvement.
