Massive Air Attack on Pavlograd Causes Extensive Damage
During a significant air assault on Pavlograd on July 19, Russian forces reportedly damaged a fire station, industrial facilities, and a five-story residential building. This information was confirmed by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, who described the incident as a “hellish night and morning for Pavlograd.” According to him, the attack involved repeated explosions as Russian terrorists targeted the city with missiles and drones, leading to multiple outbreaks of fire, reports 24brussels.
Lysak stated the attack was unprecedented in terms of scale, with reports indicating the use of numerous strike drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. Evacuation efforts for residents are ongoing as the region remains under a prolonged air raid alert, which has continued for over 11 hours since 9:09 PM on July 18.
Additionally, Lysak noted that on the evening of July 18, enemy forces directed missile strikes at various other locations in the region. In the city of Dnipro and surrounding areas, fires broke out, and two private homes were damaged in the Synelnykove district.
The aggressor also targeted the Nikopol district with FPV drones and artillery, hitting the communities of Marhanka, Myrivska, and Pokrovska. A minibus was reported damaged in the attacks.
As a result of the assault on the Marhanka community, a 57-year-old man was injured. In a related incident earlier on July 19, at least one person was killed during a large-scale drone attack in Odesa.
