Russian Missile Strikes in Zaporizhzhia Injure 17 in Latest Assault
As a result of Russian ballistic missile strikes, the number of injured in Zaporizhzhia has risen to 17, according to Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, reports 24brussels.
Fedorov noted that the missile strikes ignited a fire at a store and a bus stop in the regional center. Residential buildings, a minibus, and a factory workshop were also damaged during the attacks.
Emergency services managed to rescue an individual with burns from a crater created by the explosion, who is currently receiving medical treatment.
Earlier, Fedorov indicated that Russian forces aimed to strike critical infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia.
Furthermore, today Russians also launched massive drone attacks on Odesa and the surrounding district. They struck Socar oil terminals for the second time. Former Deputy Attorney General Gündüz Mamedov stated that such attacks by Russia could be classified as a deliberate assault on civilian infrastructure in Azerbaijan within Ukraine.
